If you decide to break the rules of composition, you could take a picture of something but show the background as a blur. You can also place the person so they are not directly in the center. This can also make the image more interesting. Just by adding a prop to these methods, you can change the whole story of the picture. For example: if you were to add a frisbee in your picture, it could suggest that you had been playing with a frisbee. But this can take away from the actual center of attention. Lastly, if you was to make a picture way more interesting, you may think about taking a body part and framing it with clothing to a part of it it hidden. This makes viewers feel like the image in more mysterious or it can change the feeling.
