After waking up, I decided to cook some cinnamon rolls for breakfast and they had just finished cooking in our oven. 

I had just woken up and came up stairs to find my mom making our thanksgiving dinner. She had ingredients spread out around the kitchen counter. I thought the green was very beautiful and the background went well with it so I decided to take a picture of this specific ingredient.

Outside The Window

I had been in my dinning room when I thought of the idea to take this picture. It was a cloudy day and we had thanksgiving decorations out. I thought that I would be able to take a picture of this seen because it shows the time of year very well with the weather and the decorations. I also used the technique of framing.

Spooky, Scary Image

I had been in my kitchen early one morning and noticed the windows were foggy. I thought this would be a great change to take a spooky image. I asked a family member to go outside and place their hands on the window in the middle of the fog and when I took the image, this is what I got.

Portraits

For each of these pictures, I used two different main techniques. My first technique was adding props. I added a volleyball and a frisbee. For my second picture, I decided that it would be cool to play with eye contact. If you look carefully, you will notice that the girl is not looking directly into to camera. This can lead to further questions about the image.

Hobbies and Interests

To create this image, I had been playing beach volleyball on the sand courts at my school and I had gotten tired so I decided to take a break. I saw how the volleyball was sitting in the sand and I though it would make a great picture.

David Hockney Collage Project

In our project, we were trying to communicate the emptiness feeling of the auditorium. I thought we were very successful with communicating this. I learned a lot of things with this project. The first thing I learned was that to create a great image, it can be split up into different images and still look very realistic. Another thing I learned was that the parts of the image can be from all different images, some close up and others far off. Lastly, I learned that we need to make sure we have the order of our collage down so it doesn’t come out messy looking.
